GENDER IS ILLUSION.

At the level of the soul we are all same. It is the body which is created by maya (illusion) gives us the illusion that we are male and female. The nature of illusion (maya) is to appear what it is not, therefore we get stuck in the illusions of the opposite sex. Actually, the so called male and female are just two souls, who under the spell of illusion consider themselves as male and female. And, therefore they look differently (sometimes lustfully) at the soul who is having just a different body. The illusion (maya ) is very smart, it always gets success in making a fool out of us. So we need to be aware of the ways of the maya (illusion). We should love and respect each other as pure souls and nothing else.
P.S : Once Meerabai was in Vrindaban and wanted to meet a sadhu. But the sadhu said since he is a male , he never talks to females. At this Meerabai said , the one and only male is God, rest are all females including the sadhu. The sadhu realized his mistake and fell on the feet of Meerabai.
