How much money do we actually need ?, mind it , i am talking about need , not greed : )
Say, a person may live for 100 years ( although avg. rate of survival has come down to 60 as far as my understanding )
100 years = 36600 days approx.
Now, for 1 day if we need 2 dollars (Rs. 100 in indian terms) (i may be wrong but i assumed it based on my understanding )
Then for 36600 days we need 73200 dollars ( Rs. 3660000 in indian terms, i.e Rs. 37 lakhs approx )
Again coming down to the basics, when we are young nobody asks us to pay for anything, our parents provide us everything for free easily till we are 25 years of age, after that they may start nagging. So in this way, we are saved by Rs 9. 15 lakhs (18300 dollars)
Now for the remaining Rs 27.85 lakhs (54900 dollars), if we get some job or do some business earning monthly Rs. 3000 (60 dollars) , we can survive in this way till we die : )
If you are earning more , its ok till you accumulate Rs. 30 lakhs (60000 dollars). But, if you happen to accumulate the required sum (it may be much more than my assumptions) for survival , i wish (its totally my personal view) you stop the race for money once and for all. Its a dirty game.
Also remember, even if you happen to not earn anything in your life, due to unfavourable circumstances, dont be depressed, be joyful that God has a special plan for you. So long as one gets food to eat, it does not matter even if he has not seen or heard about the thing called money.
Dying of hunger (if circumstances are so ) is better than dying running after money (inspite of having enough money ).
Anyways, nothing can save you when your time of death actually comes.

A life of making money is like that of an ox running in circles around the stone mill that crushes castor seeds for oil. The farmer feeds the ox some fodder for its toil and here the wife gives you a plate of food for your toil of the day, there is no difference.
Remember money is a comfort ( say if we have to go to a certain distance , we may use a public transport if we have money ). Now to earn money , we have to bear some discomfort . Now, the intelligent thing to do, is that the amount of discomfort we bear in earning money should be less than the comfort we get from the same money. Say if you waste your whole life accumulating money, its the height of foolishness because you would not be able to buyback your life with all your money.
Money cant buy love.
Money cant buy spirituality.
Money cant buy God.
If money could have bought God, then all rich men would have been one with God.
Only Love and Devotion can buy God : )
If love and devotion for God is experienced by you then all the difficulties of life will be passed through easily.
